The Application/Interview Process

There are two ways to apply: we are excited to offer an online application for your convenience or you are welcome to visit our office to apply in person. During your interview we'll thoroughly cover your work history, experience, and skills then talk to you about our many exciting opportunities.

New-Hire Orientation

You'll be asked to attend a new-hire orientation. Every employee is E-Verified, background, and reference checked. For orientation you must:

  • Possess and present a current Maricopa County Food Handlers Card.
  • Come to orientation completely dressed in proper uniform.
  • Come with proper ID’s to complete Form I-9. If you have questions, please contact the office.
  • Provide a listing of your past 7 years of address history.

Healthcare Environments

Working in healthcare environments is rewarding. We are always looking for qualified and interested individuals to work rewarding positions in healthcare environments. These positions require an advanced background screening, drug test, and (depending on client specifications) proof of various vaccinations and screenings. Please contact the office for more information.

Uniform Requirements

Front of House Attire

Banquet Servers/Bartenders

Required:

  • Black long-sleeved button down men's dress shirt
  • Solid black long tie
  • Black tuxedo pants
  • Black socks
  • Black polished safety shoes

Recommended:

  • White long-sleeved oxford shirt with button down collar
  • White wing-tipped collar tuxedo shirt
  • White polo shirt
  • Black cummerbund
  • Black bow tie
  • Clean white t-shirt

Back of House

Culinary

  • White or black chef coat
  • Black or check slacks
  • Black skid proof safety shoes

All Other Attire

All Others:

  • White polo shirt
  • Black Slacks (Jeans are not acceptable)
  • Black safety shoes
  • Black socks

Certification Requirements

Maricopa County Food Handler's Card

Food Service Worker Cards are required by Maricopa County for any person who handles, prepares, serves, sells or gives away food for human consumption, including those whose duties are restricted to busing or washing dishes. ESW Staffing has a partnership with eFoodHandlers, an ANSI-accredited program approved by Maricopa County, that offers the FHC certificate for only $5.00 and you pay only when you pass! T.I.P.S. Online Certification

TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) is a skills-based training program that is designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking, and drunk driving. TIPS certification is required for any position that will sell and/or serve alcohol. However, obtaining a TIPS certification is not considered a condition for employment.
